About Heartland Kids

At Heartland Church, children are at the heart of all we do. We strive to provide fun-filled activities combined with strong, purposeful Bible teaching in an environment where each child feels loved and accepted.

We are committed to teaching children how awesome it is to have a relationship with the God of the universe. We want them to love His Word and learn to walk in His ways.

The Bible is relevant for today, and we strive to help kids see that they can personally apply the Bible truths taught!

Ministry to Kids doesn’t stop with our programs. We also strive to resource and support parents, helping families to both grow and thrive together.

FW Friends

Both Sundays and Wednesdays, Heartland Kids meet with their circle of Friends. FaithWeaver Friends is a revolutionary kids program designed to present God’s word with high impact while focusing on building strong and healthy relationships. Throughout the year kids experience the Bible one story at a time.

Sunday Mornings

Sunday mornings are a highlight for Heartland Kids. All kids from 3 years old to fifth grade are invited to attend Children’s Church. Kids may be dropped off at Children’s Church between 9:50 and 10:00 AM and may be picked up at 11:15 AM.

During Children’s Church, kids experience God through fun object lessons, drama, puppets, singing, and games.

Wednesday Nights

Wednesday night kids may be dropped off between 6:50 and 7:00 PM and may be picked up at 8:00 PM. Building upon the key teaching and lessons from Sunday morning, kids continue exploring the Bible.

Journaling, Snack Café, crafts, and more are combined with the week’s lesson to create a memorable and life building experience.

Fifth Sundays

During the year we have a few special Sundays called Fifth Sunday. Whenever we have a month with 5 Sundays, we take the fifth Sunday and shake it up. This Sunday, families are all together for one big family friendly service. You never know what will happen!
